TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. DEFINITIONS
- "Cahosol" refers to Caribbean Housing Solutions, the operator of the vacation rental portal.
- Portal" refers to the Cahosol website and mobile application.
- User" refers to any person using the Portal.
- Property" refers to any vacation rental property listed on the Portal.
- Owner" refers to the owner or manager of a Property.
- Renter" refers to a User who books a Property through the Portal.
2. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By using the Portal, Users agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
3. USE OF THE PORTAL
- Users must be at least 18 years old to use the Portal.
- Users must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account or booking a property.
- Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account login credentials.
4. PROPERTIES BOOKINGS
- Renters must carefully review the Property description, pricing, and terms before booking.
- Bookings are subject to Owner approval and availability.
- Cahosol is not responsible for any issues or disputes arising from the booking or stay.
5. PAYMENT TERMS
- Renters must pay the full booking amount, including any applicable taxes and fees, at the time of booking.
- Payments are processed through a secure third-party payment gateway.
6. CANCELLATION POLICY
- Renters may cancel a booking subject to the Owner's cancellation policy.
- Cahosol is not responsible for any losses or damages resulting from a cancellation.
7. LIABILITY
- Cahosol is not liable for any damages or losses resulting from the use of the Portal or any Property.
- Owners are responsible for ensuring their Properties comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
- The Portal and its content are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
- Users may not reproduce, modify, or distribute any Portal content without Cahosol's prior written consent.
9. GOVERNING LAW
- These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Dominican Republic.
- Any disputes arising from these Terms and Conditions shall be resolved through arbitration in accordance with the rules of Dominica Republic.
10. CHANGES TO TERMS
- Cahosol reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time.
- Users will be notified of any changes through the Portal or by email.
By using the Portal, Users acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
